Another boring Sunday. I wish oh how I wish someone would put something watchable on TV. I am begining to think we are wasting our money on Austar. Maybe our money would be better spent on cancelling it and putting the money towards broadband internet instead? Imagine the songs i could "borrow" then.
I almost think we Aussies should be exempt from the laws preventing people from stealing songs. It's like this, we here in the land down under get somewhere in the vicintiy of 20% of the worlds music releases. Pathetic isin't it? So if you want more, you must go to import shops and pay substancially more than our overseas friends do. Then the likes of Peter Garret crawl out from under the bush they were protecting to proclaim that lifting import restrictions on music will kill Australian jobs! What rot. As an experiment here, try going to your local Sanity cd shop, a local one mind, not a big huge city one, and see how many Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Nazareth, or even Aerosmith cd's they have in stock. Those mentioned bands have sold between them hundreds of millions of albums. Deep Purple alone have sold over 140 million.
Lift the import restrictions now so we can enjoy the same selection our international friends do. Specially the Europeans.

Whats new in the world today? Not much it seems. You can surf the internet looking for things to talk about till your fingers hurt sometimes and still not find that "juicy thing". I was thinking, God I miss Audiogalaxy. Kazza is not too hot on "hard to find stuff". Any suggestions?

I thought it was pretty piss poor of the Howard government to keep the Ansett tax on. You know what they say about Governments and taxes, once they are on, they are mighty hard to lift. Hasen't Steve "if I smile nicely and babbel they will love me" Bracks been promising to remove stamp duty for a few years now? Could be wrong on that, it's hard to keep track of ole Steve, not hard to keep track of what he does, nothing, but hard to keep track of what he says he is going to do.

Well, it can't all be bad news now can it? Melidoc Rock website had this to say, "Rumors are kicking about that legendary Aussie rockers The Angels will soon re-appear, working with famed producers Vanda and Young on a top secret project and likely tour."
This is indeed the most exciting piece of music news I have heard this year! I'll be there with my flannel shirt and my moccasins joining in the regular chant.
Another piece of magnificent news this week Collingwood won!!!! Not only did they win, they bet Carlton! (boo hiss).
As if that wasn’t enough, it looks like the allies are about to take Baghdad. That should mean the war is nearly over. Indeed a joyous occasion. Let’s hope that when it’s all said and done, the allies can find more justification for their invasion. Not that ridding the world of Suddam wasn't justification enough but you know how the likes of Phillip "communism will work, honestly it will" Adams will carry on if nothing is found.
I can hear the prick ranting now, "America killed millions of innocent Iraqi women and children and shot their dogs and cats, and pissed in their fish tanks, and found nothing more dangerous than an Iraqi child (rescued from under 17,000 tons of rubble by a half starved Amnesty volunteer with a plastic shovel provided by the French) with a cold. (It caught from the Allies).

Low life filthy pigs of people who do this type of thing. Our men died so these filth had the freedom to persue such sick twisted ideals as this. To the people who did this I say, come forth, tell us who you are, don't be afraid we can't hurt you, your good friend Annin and every do gooding son of a bitch on the planet will scream if we did. You make me sick, and if I knew for a fact my Mother wouldn't read this, I would certainly come up with much more inventive names for you. Bunch of "drop kick and punts".
The words on the picture bellow read, "Normandy Beach on the French Coast.
Guess who's buried there and what they were doing to end up as one of the 10,943.
Maybe we need new friends. Enough said."

Well it looks like Saddam didn't get Treacher afterall. I got an e-mail from him he is alive and well. It took more than a refresh to get his page back. And it would seem our smiling Ethiopians have moved back to where they came from. Accompanied by the very white woman with the "I'm saving the world" smile on her face. And whomever was missing them I swear we didn't steal them, they had just been removed. I like it when I don't have to hear Patrick yelling "who are these people, and what the hell is she smiling about" Peace and quiet restored to my happy home, thank you Blog Spot.
Well, as any readers may know from the previous post, there is no "onsite" weblog happening just yet...LMAO.
Well this just sucks, coz I think Saddam got Treacher. No Shit! He has been missing since Friday, and I'm in need of a good laugh. Guess I'll have to go check out the Darwin Awards. And FYI I'm sick to death of those codes, I'm going into total melt down. And Patrick if I didn't love you soooooooooooooooo much I would tell you where you could sick those codes. *smiles sweetly*

Alright, now that blogger has finnished its April Fools hissy fit, we are back. I feel I must tell you that after yesterdays marvellous stuff up by Blogger, my lovley wife and I are working on a weblog for our own site. It remains to be seen wether or not we attain such a goal, but we are trying. I'm glad it's working today, yesterday I was getting pictures of people who I never knew on my page, with links I would never recommend. Has Suddam found a new way to piss us off?

god this is annoying
Can't get the links to work
Help :(
Now look, this is not it either. Its enough to shit you to tears.
What the hell is going on here???? You see this page? If you do, this is NOT my selection!!! I don't know these people nor how this crap got on MY PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLOGGER SUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well didn't have an uneventful day today. We played online most of the day. You would think with all this time online, we could find something more to write about.
I listened to that major idiot Donna "human shield" Mulhearn waffling about how happy she was to be found by Australian troops in Iraq. I almost wish she was found by Americans and sent to Cuba with the other human filth. These morons have no sense of reality, even after witnessing a little war stuff for themselves.
I just don't understand the mentality at work here. Its a black and white issue, you are for the toppling of a person who could well be the most murderous tyrant of our time (well mine anyway) or your not. I think there are deeper issues at work here to be honest. We of the west live in a sanitized world, a world where most pain can be fixed with a few drugs, ditto for psychological issues. There is no need to go through any PAIN to reach the other side.
These "out of step with reality" idiots really do believe Suddam can be removed (and they seem to be in agreement with that much at least) painlessly! I know, let’s send brave warriors in to infiltrate his palaces and arrest him in his sleep, and bring him through his army of guards unseen to be given a fair trial in whatever court deemed adequate. Then maybe he can go live with good old Idi Amin and they can compare notes.
Maybe we could set up a big garden party and invite Suddam and just give him a good talking to! These people protesting screaming throwing bottles of piss (in Perth) at police make me sick. I am not sure what I detest more, the war or the protesters! If the pussy French had stood against Iraq this situation would most likely not have arisen. Same goes for the Russians and Chinese. Faced with united worldwide condemnation Suddam just may have complied or left. We will never know now, thanks again Socialist arseholes.

Peace Activist Etiquette

With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter "Peace Activists" who will try and convince us that we must refrain from retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001, and those who support terror. These activist may be alone or in a gathering.....most of us don't know how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people or one of their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette:

1. Listen politely while this person explains theirs views. Strike up a conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideals. They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They will probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.

2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the nose.

3. When the person gets up off the ground, they will be very angry and they may try to you, so be careful.

4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if they are really committed to a non-violent approach to undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them they must lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.

5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct.

6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much harder. Square in the nose.

7. Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.

8. There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting victim or a group of terrorist attacking a nation of people. It is unacceptable and must be dealt with. Perhaps at a high cost. We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for us and our children. We must support them and our leaders at times like these. We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep getting hit in the nose.

Lesson over, class dismissed

Check out this e mail that arrived in my in box over the weekend. It gives you food for thought, be it from a real vetren or not.
Received From A Veterans list:

History 101

I asked a friend of mine who is in his 80's who was in the Korean War and World War II to give me a little history lesson and his thoughts today on War. I am sharing this because it is a different look at the War. It is not my opinion just thoughts from an honorable man that lived through two Wars and that I have a great respect for. Thoughts to think about:

"I'm not going to get into a lengthy history lesson. The short, short version is that the League of Nations (established after WW I to prevent wars) failed to stop Mussolini's Italy from invading and conquering Ethiopia. It failed to stop Japan from invading and conquering Manchuria and much of China. Their committees wrung their hands spoke in platitudes but did absolutely nothing to stop war.

At France's coaxing Britain's prime minister Nevil Chamberlain met with Adolph Hitler in Munich and surrendered the Sudetenland to Nazi Germany in the interest of "peace in our time." The French and British watched as Germany took Austria, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia. They all had committee meetings and wrung their hands and talked of peace.

World War II erupted when Nazi Germany invaded Poland. Britain had a mutual defense treaty with Poland so they couldn't escape. They declared war on Germany. Germany had a mutual defense treaty with Japan so Japan declared war on Britain. France wet their pants and surrendered to Germany as fast as they could and gleefully shipped all the Jews they could find to death camps in Germany to prove to Adolph that they really were on the side of Germany.

Japan attacked the United States and, because of Japan's mutual defense treaty with Germany, Germany declared war on the United States.

Up until December 7th and the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, a large number of our people were wringing their hands and saying, "Appease Hitler. He is really a good guy who just needed a little more land for his expanding population. The dear man just wants peace. And World War II was in full swing leaving better than 50,000,000 people dead including about 450,000 American soldiers and sailors.

Three cheers for the League of Nations!

After World War II it was decided to do the whole thing all over again.

This time we would call it the United Nations and we will have committee meetings and hand wringing parties and make sure peace prevails throughout the land.

While that body wrung hands the Soviet Union split Germany, invaded Poland and Yugoslavia, Rumania, Hungary and Bulgaria along with Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The peaceful world saw Korea with
37,000 American soldiers killed, over 1,000,000 South Korean soldiers and civilians killed and the country nearly destroyed.

Since then we have had over 50,000 American soldiers killed in Vietnam and have fought wars in Somalia, Herzegovenia, Panama, Granada, plus the Gulf War when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

We should have gone into Baghdad and taken out that evil regime then but the United Nations would have no part of that. All they would allow was for us to chase the Iraqis out of Kuwait, then peace would prevail.

Now, here we are with Saddam violating all 17 United Nations resolutions while he has massed poison gas and bio weapons. He is frantically trying to develop a nuke and his buddy, Kim Jong-Il of North Korea may give him a few.
(It was the United Nations who prevented us from taking North Korea when the war was hot and we had the means to do it.)

France is in fear that the United States will take Saddam out and along with him, France's 60 billion dollar contracts with Iraq. Russia hedges because Iraq owes them 6 billion dollars that they sorely need.

In answer to your question....... yes we should go to war with Iraq. We should have done it six months ago. We should also get out of the United Nations. Can you believe that the United Nations has appointed Iraq and Syria to head up the United Nations Disarmament Committee? Can you believe they have appointed Libya to head up the Human Rights Committee? All three of these countries are on the UN List of Terrorist states, (and let's not even get into how they treat women).............Absolutely unbelievable.

Well here we are at the end of another day. I am about all "war talked" out. I am guessing the Americans grossly underestimated the brutality of some of the Iraqi army. All's fair in love and war but only if we aren't the ones doing it. Look at this quote from Samuel P. Huntington.
"The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact, non-Westerners never do."
Personally I think some of those middle easterners could teach us a thing or two about "organised violence".

I am sitting here wondering if there will be a backlash against George Bush if too many American soliders die. If maybe the American people will disaprove of the "war with kid gloves" approach they are persueing. You have to admit, the allies have gone to extraordinary lengths to not harm/maim civilians. There was a major backlash against his Dad for not getting rid of Suddam during the gulf war. I wonder if there will be a similar backlash if the war drags on and the body count rises. I wish that scum sucking maggot arsehole Suddam would end it. He is the only one capable of doing so. Don't hang by the balls waiting though will you.
